Very functional, it also gives location information so you see it on the map.

Caution: you must have an Evernote account to use this app. It serves a similar purpose to those plain vanilla apps for writers: it acts as a short cut to a note with no distractions. In this case it is a different note for each day, waiting to be filled with your reflections, deep thoughts and daily record of your PERSONAL world. You dont have to enter a note every day, but you have only the single note for any day you do make an entry. All your notes are stored in a special notebook created by the app in your evernote account. This app is a excellent tool for doing one thing: personal journaling, aka a diary.
Of the six test entries I typed and "Saved" to Evernote, only four survived. The other two disappeared into the binary void from whence they came, never to be seen again. Whose fault is it? I know not, but since I dont like rolling the dice when I tap on "Share", I will probably put my notes in something else that doesnt helpfully erase what I write after I submit it.
Very easy to use. Nice intergration with the Evernote program. Using an older Apple 3GS and it makes. My life easier. Thank you very much. Dan
… maybe-I-will and maybe-I-wont attitude toward actually saving notes in Evernote. It seems to be only fitfully fulfilling its purpose. Should I complain to Evernote?
been using this for a week now & will say up front, it does what its supposed to do. the deal breaker for me today was offline updates, when posted, dont preserve the original timestamps - they have todays date & time which is not correct. my other gripe is not being able to define the name of the notebook to store notes and whether u want a "flat" notebook or one organized by year (which I understand the intent) - Id like to see this mesh with my existing journals more seamlessly. All this said, Im sure Ill keep using the app for random daily notes now and then.
Where oh where have my saved entries gone? Once saved, once gone. Have written a few days none are to be found. I see no reason to further my frustration in trying to remember what I wrote so I can place my thoughts safely elsewhere...Glad I didnt pay for it!
I find this app to be very similar to the note app that comes with the software for the phone. Except there is no way to view your entries in the app. Where do the entries go? Its very disappointing especially coming from Evernote creators, I was expecting something more.
Lost a whole week of entries that never bridged to Evernote. This is not the first time. Very unhappy.
I didnt even get to use it because I dont have an account. And it wouldnt even let me create one! I mean, how dumb is that! This app might get good reviews, but I am not. I deleted it the minute after I wasnt able to use it. Sorry, but this app should make it so that even those without an account can use it.
This is a great app overall. However, there are syncing issues that need to be worked out. Sometimes I will get two entries in Evernote for one day, instead of just one entry (with associated date), which is what it should do. Otherwise, good job.
Been using this for two years. Im a salesman on the road, I take my daily orders and notes in this app, then save each week. When Im looking back for an old order, evernote makes it easy to find. I have two complaints: the iPad keyboard is constantly covering up where Im trying to type, and the "check mark" button is too close to the "upload" button. When I go to make a check mark, sometime I hit upload, and my week of notes is now gone into evernote...
This app almost looks as though it were designed specifically for VoiceOver. I am totally blind and was able to use it completely independently with only a few custom button lables. It has quickly become one of the most used apps on my iPad, and it has greatly contributed to the organized chaos of my writing journals.
